About ‘Purple Mountains - Life Free or Die’
Over his nearly 50 years in the mountains, Jeremy has seen change—more extreme weather, more strain on outdoor destinations, and more impacts on local economies both big and small. In his new film PURPLE MOUNTAINS - LIVE FREE OR DIE Jeremy returns to where his professional snowboarding career began to see just how far he’s come. Motivated by an urgent need to protect the places he loves—and through a belief in the unifying power of a shared love of the outdoors—he sets out on a journey to listen, learn, and attempt to unify the millions of Americans who identify as having a deep connection to nature and comprise what he calls The Outdoor State.
