A commercial and subsistence fishery has evolved into a region focused on pesca-tourism with saltwater fly fishing at the core. Bitter Water traces the braided lines of necessity, tradition, and passion at the heart of this story.

Peter Grigsby: Peter Grigsby is an award-winning producer and director with a focus on documentary and independent film. His work has taken him across Colombia on an acclaimed feature, into collaborations with National Geographic Channel in the Middle East and Europe, and deep into stories rooted in culture and place. Alongside his narrative and documentary projects, Peter has also directed high-profile commercial campaigns with talents such as LeBron James and Arnold Schwarzenegger. He lives on a small ranch in El Pescadero, BCS, Mexico, with his wife and daughter, where the story of Baja’s culture and fishing remains close to his heart and home.
