See Like Me

Duration: 6 min
Synopisis
Blind children are often born with perfect pitch and a natural aptitude for music. In 1980, music programs were cut from schools in the US and access to music for such uniquely talented musicians was nearly lost. A music school was founded in 2020 to help fill the void and change the lives of musically gifted blind children.

Production Team
With roots in South Louisiana, Kate Brantley brings a rich and diverse background to her work through a variety of artistic endeavors beyond film. She has called Italy, London, Montana, and New York City home in her educational pursuits of film and journalism as well as music and wine. As a two-time Emmy Award-winning producer and member of the Directors' Guild, she’s driven to share the stories and experiences that shape us, connect us and deeply resonate. In between projects, good luck finding her.
Sarah Hughen is a passionate advocate for positive storytelling and community engagement. A lifetime of extensive travel has inspired her to share these deeper connections by founding Sea State, an immersive study abroad company for undergraduates, as well as co-founding Foster the Earth, a nonprofit dedicated to offering underserved youth access to hiking and backpacking trips. Hughen is originally from Wisconsin but resides in Montana, where she’s balancing nearly being an empty nester with the new hobby of beekeeping to satiate her addiction to honey. Hughen helped direct See Like Me.
