Jack Johnson to Headline Two-Night Benefit Concert at Coast Film & Music Festival

Single-Day Tickets Available for Festival Events Starting Under $20; Opening Night Film Features "Eyes of Ghana" at Rivian South Coast Theater

(LAGUNA BEACH, CA - October 7, 2025) – With less than a month until opening night, Coast Film & Music Festival has announced single-day tickets are available for festival events. The 7th Annual festival kicks off November 1st at Rivian South Coast Theater with a screening of "Eyes of Ghana" and runs through November 9th across multiple venues in Laguna Beach, culminating with Jack Johnson's two-night concert celebration at the historic Irvine Bowl.

"This year represents a transformative moment for us," said Ben Warner, Co-Founder of Coast Film & Music Festival. "We're honoring the Irvine Bowl's original 1941 vision as a venue for live concerts by bringing Jack Johnson's remastered surf films back to the big screen after 25 years, paired with intimate live performances under the stars. The November 8-9 concerts at the Festival of Arts' Irvine Bowl mark a return to the venue's cultural roots, showcasing Johnson's influential surf films alongside live performances in the intimate 2,600-seat amphitheater.”

Before becoming a multi-platinum recording artist, Jack Johnson was known in the surf world for his influential surf films, including "Thicker Than Water" and "The September Sessions," which combined stunning cinematography with his signature acoustic soundtrack. These films helped define the aesthetic of modern surf culture and introduced millions to Johnson's music.

Proceeds from the benefit concerts support ocean conservation efforts through Jack Johnson's 'Ohana Foundation and the Coast Film Foundation, continuing the festival's commitment to environmental stewardship.

"We're committed to purpose-driven storytelling that drives real change," said Enich Harris, Co-Founder of Coast Film & Music Festival. "By bringing world-class music to the Irvine Bowl with proceeds benefiting ocean conservation, we're proving entertainment and impact can go hand in hand."

Single-day tickets range from under $20 for film screenings at Laguna Beach Cultural Arts Center to $125 for premium experiences including Coast Summit and select seating options. All tickets are available now at coastfilmfestival.com.
