Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl is a swashbuckling adventure film about a blacksmith, Will Turner, and a pirate, Captain Jack Sparrow, who join forces to rescue Elizabeth Swann, the governor's daughter, from the clutches of Captain Barbossa and his crew on the Black Pearl. Barbossa and his crew have been cursed to become undead and are searching for a way to break the curse.
