In true Coast Film & Music Festival style, we’re thrilled to announce a special benefit concert and film experience at the iconic Irvine Bowl in Laguna Beach. This unforgettable two-night event will celebrate the 25th anniversary of Jack Johnson’s classic surf films that defined a generation and launched his music career—Thicker Than Water (1999) and The September Sessions (2000). Remastered in stunning 4K from the original 16mm prints, these films return to the big screen for the first time in a quarter century. Join Jack & Friends under the stars for an extraordinary mix of live music, film, and storytelling in Laguna Beach.

TICKETS & ENTRY

  • Please download the Tixr app prior to arrival. All digital tickets are equipped with a rotating bar code to mitigate scalpers, due to this guests must download the TIXR app:  Apple App Store or Google Play

  • Have your tickets open in the Tixr app and your phone charged with screen brightness up for scanning.

  • All bags and personal items are subject to search upon entry; metal detectors may be used.

  • Refusal of inspection will result in denied entry.

  • We recommend arriving early to allow time for security and parking.

  • No weapons, illegal substances, fireworks, drones, or flammable materials.

  • No personal chairs, tables, blankets, or ground seating setups.

  • No glass bottles or containers.

  • No illuminated or LED clothing, light-up accessories, signs, flags, or totems.

ALCOHOL, DRUGS, & SMOKING

  • Guests must be 21 or older to consume alcohol; please drink responsibly.

  • Smoking and vaping are not permitted on the Festival of Arts or Irvine Bowl grounds.

  • Illegal drugs are strictly prohibited.

TRANSPORTATION & PARKING

  • On-site Bike Valet is available for guests arriving by bicycle.

  • Rideshare is encouraged. A designated drop-off and pick-up zone will be available.

  • Parking is available in City Lots 11 and 12, as well as downtown metered parking. View HOW TO COAST for detailed parking info.

PHOTOGRAPHY & DEVICES

  • Professional cameras, video recording equipment, and selfie sticks are not allowed.

  • Cell phone photos and short personal video clips are permitted during concerts only.

  • All electronic devices must be silenced during performances.

SERVICE ANIMALS

  • Only trained ADA service animals are permitted.

  • Emotional support, therapy, and comfort animals are not allowed.

FESTIVAL WEEKEND PROGRAMMING

The Coast Film & Music Festival runs all weekend at the Festival of Arts grounds, with film screenings, speakers, live music, community programming, and food and drinks from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday. Your Jack Johnson ticket includes access! Arrive early and check it out!

IMPORTANT TICKET INFORMATION

How to get the Tixr app and view your tickets:

  • Download the Tixr app: Apple App Store or Google Play

  • Open the app and log in using the same email address you used to purchase.

  • Tap the Wallet tab to view your event.

  • If you don’t see tickets yet, that’s expected before November 7, 2025. They will automatically appear once delivery begins.

  • At the venue, present your tickets in the Tixr app for scanning. Make sure your phone is charged and brightness is up.

Net proceeds will go to Johnson ʻOhana Foundation to support Southern California based ocean conservation groups, with a portion of the Laguna Beach show proceeds benefiting Coast Film Foundation to support its mission of connecting outdoor and ocean communities through film.
