This unforgettable two-night event will celebrate the 25th anniversary of Jack Johnson’s classic surf films that defined a generation and launched his music career—Thicker Than Water (1999) and The September Sessions (2000). Remastered in stunning 4K from the original 16mm prints, these films return to the big screen for the first time in a quarter century. TICKETS & ENTRY

  • Please download the Tixr app prior to arrival. All digital tickets are equipped with a rotating bar code to mitigate scalpers, due to this guests must download the TIXR app:  Apple App Store or Google Play

  • Have your tickets open in the Tixr app and your phone charged with screen brightness up for scanning.

  • All bags and personal items are subject to search upon entry; metal detectors may be used.

  • Refusal of inspection will result in denied entry.

  • We recommend arriving early to allow time for security and parking.

  • No outside food, beverages, or coolers.

  • No weapons, illegal substances, fireworks, drones, or flammable materials.

  • No personal chairs, tables, blankets, or ground seating setups.

  • No glass bottles or containers.

  • No illuminated or LED clothing, light-up accessories, signs, flags, or totems.

  • Guests must be 21 or older to consume alcohol; please drink responsibly.

  • Smoking and vaping are not permitted on the Festival of Arts or Irvine Bowl grounds.

TRANSPORTATION & PARKING

  • On-site Bike Valet is available for guests arriving by bicycle.

  • Rideshare is encouraged. A designated drop-off and pick-up zone will be available.

PHOTOGRAPHY & DEVICES

  • Professional cameras, video recording equipment, and selfie sticks are not allowed.

  • Cell phone photos and short personal video clips are permitted during concerts only.

  • All electronic devices must be silenced during performances.

SERVICE ANIMALS

  • Only trained ADA service animals are permitted.

  • Emotional support, therapy, and comfort animals are not allowed.

FESTIVAL WEEKEND PROGRAMMING

The Coast Film & Music Festival runs all weekend at the Festival of Arts grounds, with film screenings, speakers, live music, community programming, and food and drinks from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday. Your Jack Johnson ticket includes access! Arrive early and check it out!

IMPORTANT TICKET INFORMATION

How to get the Tixr app and view your tickets:

  • Download the Tixr app: Apple App Store or Google Play

  • Open the app and log in using the same email address you used to purchase.

  • Tap the Wallet tab to view your event.

  • If you don’t see tickets yet, that’s expected before November 7, 2025. They will automatically appear once delivery begins.

  • At the venue, present your tickets in the Tixr app for scanning. Make sure your phone is charged and brightness is up.

  • Your tickets will be delivered digitally through Tixr. Tickets are digital-only and will appear in your Tixr account on a delayed delivery schedule. This means you won’t see your tickets right away after purchase. You’ll get a notification once they are available in your Tixr account on November 7th at 8 AM PST.

    Important: To access your tickets, you must log into the Tixr app with the same email address you used to purchase your tickets. If you log in with a different email, your tickets will not appear.

  • Digital-only tickets do not have a printable PDF and can only be accessed through your Tixr app. Each ticket has a rotating digital code that updates periodically to prevent fraud. This means screenshots or printed versions of tickets will not be accepted at the event.

  • No. Because the code changes each time, it can’t be saved to a static location like your mobile wallet and can only be accessed through the Tixr app.

  • Yes! Learn through step-by-step instructions how to transfer a ticket, return a transferred ticket, and cancel a transfer offer. Also, find answers to the most common transfer-related questions.

  • Yes! If you can no longer attend and tickets have sold out, you’ll have the option to list your tickets for resale directly through Tixr Verified Resale. Resales are limited to face value only to ensure fairness and fan protection. If your ticket sells, it will be canceled, the buyer will receive a new ticket with a unique QR code, and you will receive your payout after the event ends. 

  • All sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for another date, time, or ticket type.

  • Log in to your Tixr account on the app or website to view your tickets in your Tixr wallet. Remember that while your order will be visible for review, the actual tickets will only appear after November 7th at 8 AM PST. If you still can’t locate them, contact Tixr Support for assistance, or visit the box office at the event with a photo ID and your order information to be checked in manually.

  • If you’re having trouble accessing your tickets on-site, visit the Box Office with your order information and a valid photo ID that matches the name on the purchase.

Net proceeds will go to Johnson ʻOhana Foundation to support Southern California based ocean conservation groups, with a portion of the Laguna Beach show proceeds benefiting Coast Film Foundation to support its mission of connecting outdoor and ocean communities through film.
